Maya Constraints

Constraints between bones, locators Aim constraints always require setting the vector it faces and the one pointing upwards. Parent constraints (always select the parent first) – you can specify what will be inherited.

It’s better to create constraints from scratch rather than trying to bind them complicatedly.

Maintain offset – preserves the offset between constrained objects.

You can find the Node editor here:

Node editor – in cases where „I knee 2 secondy“ is parent constrained to „prefix l patella int grp,“ it takes the rotation and translation. Don’t worry about the loop connection; it’s just visual and not broken.

Constraints cannot be exported, and bones with movement through them cannot be exported with animation loss.
