Plugin for Maya with integration to Unreal Engine Additive capability to modify bone behavior within hierarchy in different situations and use cases.
Great for correcting and enhancing bone movement in animation. Faking muscles or simulations, allowing for setting different types of animation rather than just linear.
For instance, when a character raises their arm and starts waving, conventional skinning would make the arm appear stiff. Wrangler enables us to adjust the movement so that whenever someone begins waving their whole arm (e.g., rotating the arm bone on the X-axis), I can set that from 0 to 10 degrees, nothing happens; from 0 to 45 degrees, the scapula bone slightly tilts (to mimic shoulder blade movement), and from 45 to 90 degrees, the torso bones also move, creating the impression of movement in the back muscles and wings.
Such a feeling or additional logic is not achievable with linear skinning.
